About Intellicot

Intellicot was founded by Paul Byass, Adam Treen, Peter Lea and Johnathon Peaty who met at Coventry University while studying Industrial Product Design.

The intelligent cot is the result of a final year design project by the four designers, who realised that the nursery furniture market was in desperate need of some inspiration.

The project turned into a labour of love, involving many months of research and many hours of toil in the workshop, to develop a cot which addressed common problems with practical features.

Following exhibition at the university degree show the intelligent cot received considerable attention from the public and the media, which made it clear how much demand there is for such a product.

Intellicot Ltd was born on the 7th of November 2005 in order to develop the cot into a marketable product. Currently the team are seeking funding in order to progress to the next stage of development. If you would be interested in supporting the business, please do not hesitate to contact us.

The project is support by Technik2 and Alan Graham Model Makers.
